Four staff members of Wildes-Spirit Design and Printing recently received certification and 1.4 CEU’s in Successful Project Management. The certification was offered through the American Management Association at the College of Southern Maryland La Plata campus.

Molly Murphy represented Wildes-Spirit’s Customer Service Department, Sherry Harding represented Account Management, Judy Guevara represented the Bindery/Shipping Department and Katie Stickel represented the Sales Department.
   
The main focus of the course was to sharpen skills for the following:

• Set measurable project objectives and create a practical plan to achieve them
• More accurately control the time, cost and scope of each project
• Lead the project team and manage relationships effectively and productively across the spectrum of project stakeholders

The skills of project management are used throughout Wildes-Spirit, no matter how large or small the project. “This type of refresher training enables our company to offer some of the best service and products in the metro area,” said company president Katie Stickel.
